Electric bikes aren't a new concept, and with a new variety of styles coming
out each year aren't too unusual. We tried most of them, and whilst they have
their good points, there has always been something missing. Until now that is,
this range is simply stunning. The E-trans, E-World and E-Race are 400w motor
and come with a variety of accessory levels. Nice, but we can' help getting
excited over the Twist! Only a 250w motor, so not too powerful, you'd think.
Wrong! The battery is NiMH, similar to mobile phone technology, which provides
excellent power. The main advantage is that at only 20kg, it goes like a
rocket. Plus you can carry, load onto a train or lift onto a car rack alone. A
maximum run time of 46km, aluminium frame, V brakes, internal locking system
and a recharge time of just under 4 hours, how can we not be excited, plus it's
great fun!
