Do you have a suggestion for a ride, let us know! We are spoilt for trials in the South Wales area. Apart form the Taff Trail which runs from Brecon to Cardiff Bay taking in some fantastic sites including Castell Coch, we have dedicated singletrack for those looking to work a bit harder. Cwm Carn
A great and very popular trail just outside of Newport, mostly singletrack with on site facilites and parking http://www.mbwales.com/cwm_carn/ Getting there Take M4 into Wales (or M50 / A40 / A449 if
you're coming from the north). Leave motorway at junction 28, heading north on
A467 past Risca and Crosskeys towards Abercarn. Turn right at fifth roundabout,
Cwm Carn Forest centre is signposted from here.
Looking for suggestions of local (ish) rides in the South Wales area. 16 routes across some stunning scenery, varying grades and lots of singletrack.
15km of singletrack based around a main centre with parking, bike wash and showers. Consisting of four main singletrack routes and a Family route suitable for everyone along a disused railway line. The original is a 22km Penhydd trail White’s Level Trail is a 6km steep singletrack climb followed by a twisting descent. Skyline Trail is the newest trail 46km long and over 2000m of climbs and descents The Wall trail is 24km of mainly singletrack Linking up the whole of the country with mainly off road and paved trails.
